First generation Latinas, representing 4 Latino cultures, Ana and Sandy talk about the struggles of being a first gens, helping their parents raise a family while trying to understand their cultural identity.
Yet, it’s those struggles that led them to a lifelong friendship and a new business endeavour to give back to the Latino community, especially young Latinas who may not have the opportunity to travel and women who have yet to live life on their terms.
Consuelo is a first gen Peruvian, structural engineer and mother who encourages Latinas and Women of Color, to disregard conformity so their true personalities and talents make this world a sassy musical rather than a boring monologue. Viva!
